Our Reseller-based cPanel servers offer dual Hexa Core Xeon E5656 CPU's delivering 24 visible CPU's to your web applications! We do not overload our servers, and pride ourselves on offering the highest perfoming hardware in the industry to our clients.

Do you over subscribe, or oversell; are my resources guaranteed?

We do not oversell or over-subscribe our VPS nodes. Your server resources are guaranteed, provisioned, isolated and dedicated to you: this means terms like "Burstable RAM" do not apply, as you are guaranteed 100% of the RAM you selected when purchasing your VPS.

What is the difference between Xen PV and Xen HVM?

Xen PV (Paravirtualization) and Xen HVM (Full-Virtualization, Hardware virtual Machine) are very similar and do the same thing in most respects. The major difference is that Xen HVM utilizes the hardware of the physical server to use the CPU's built-in Intel VT technology to create the virtualization. Xen PV instead uses a slightly modified kernel in the VPS to talk to the hardware of the physical server to accomplish the virtualization. Xen HVM supports non-Linux based operating systems and allows you to install customized operating systems using our VNC Console KVM system and an ISO disc. Both technologies are 100% guaranteed resources, with no over-selling. Xen PV is more optimized for standard linux kernels, and thus if you plan to run a Linux-based VPS, we recommend our Xen PV (Linux) packages.

Can I switch from Xen (PV) Linux to Xen (HVM) Windows and back and forth?

With the Xen HVM (Windows) packages, you can install any operating system and reformat, re-install from Linux to Windows and back to Windows again if you like. The Xen PV (Linux) packages support Linux-based systems -- and you can switch from any of the 50+ pre-ready versions of Linux. You cannot change from Xen PV to Xen HVM and back and forth without creating a new account (an additional purchase). You are more than welcome to buy 2 accounts or more; you will have access to all VPS's in the same TurnKey VPS administration panel even if one account is Xen PV and the other is Xen HVM.

What support is included with my VPS?

We provide support for hardware issues, network issues and anything relating to the host machine. You have access to reboot, reformat, and reload your operating system at any time through the TurnKey VPS Administration panel. We also offer optional Managed Service Plans that you can choose at sign-up which include additional support elements such as hardening your server, setting up a firewall, troubleshooting and customizing server software components such as Apache, IIS, Mail, MySQL and anything part of the operating system.

Do you provide backups?

Yes, we offer fully automated bare-metal backups via our R1Soft backup system, as well as user-account level cPanel backups.

How soon will my account be ready?

All new orders are subject to approval by our billing department and may require additional details to process your order. Orders are provisioned typically right away via our automated system once it is approved by the billing department prior to 1 PM (EST).
