How to complete Traceroute on a Windows PC:
Open the Start menu.
Type Run.
To open the command line interface, type cmd and then click OK.
The command line window will appear as below:
At the command line prompt, type:
tracert yourdomain.com
or tracert IP
The results should complete and the output should look similar to the following:
How to complete a traceroute on a Mac device:
Open a terminal window.
At the command line prompt, type:
traceroute yourdomain.com
or traceroute IP
The output of the results should display similar to the Windows example above.
